# Estimated Potential Impact for Revs

# Discover how much value your Rev can generate.

The Estimated Potential Impact model automatically estimates the **predicted total savings** for every Rev you create. By visualizing the tangible value of validating open or in-progress Revs, you can directly drive higher participation and completion rates across teams.

### How does it work?
As you capture information — the model automatically generates an estimated savings calculation based on similar Revs previously created across your organization.

* **__Automatic Calculation:__** 
Whenever you create a Rev with a title and description of the problem, a banner will display an estimated potential savings amount. *This amount will be displayed in your Site/plant's local currency.*
* **__Data Source:__** 
This estimate is generated using historical data from validated Revs in your organization. The more completed and validated Revs your organization has, the better the calculation model will be
* **__Final Validation:__** 
The final approved value may vary from the suggestion, depending on specific operational factors during the manual validation.
