How to create a Rev from MS?

Although we offer seven types of content (Improvement idea, Quick Action, Problem Solving, Routine, Finding, Challenge, Task), you can currently create and edit only three of them (Improvement idea, Quick Action, Problem Solving) in Microsoft Teams.

  1. Start Creating a Rev: Click “Create Rev” on the explore page to begin creating a new Rev.
  2. Choose a Rev: Select one of the three rev options in the “What do you want to do today?” modal
  3. Title Your Rev: Enter a title in the “Create new [Chosen Rev] modal and click “Create”
  4. **Edit Your Rev: **Customize and fill out details in the editable modal with the Rev title displayed. Changes are saved automatically

View and Edit Modals

  1. Read Only
View content data without making any changes. This type of modal ensures data integrity by preventing unauthorized modifications. Available for all types of content, including Routines, Findings, Challenges, Tasks and Revs (Quick Actions, Improvement Ideas, and Problem solving)

  1. Edit Modal
Editable modals provides you an interactive environment in case you have permissions to modify the data. These modals are only available to assignees within the Rev or users with roles such as Admin or Manger. Available only for Revs (Quick Actions, Improvement Ideas, and Problem solving)

Visualizing Data

  • Scenario A:

By using exploration tools that include search functionalities and filters, you can effectively visualize Revs and Data within Rever. Clicking on the “Preview” button will prompt the display of a modal showcasing the relevant data clearly

  • Scenario B

Another method for data visualization involves receiving notifications about the current Revs being handled. These notifications will include a mechanism to access a modal interface for reviewing the necessary data in detail, ensuring clarity and ease of access

Filters Menu

In the Explore section, you will find four filters carefully curated based on your preferences: Sites, Content type, Status, and Role.
Additionally, an option labeled “More filters” is provided, allowing you to select additional filters to refine your search further and improve search accuracy.
It works just like the Explore section within the app, you can add as many filters as you want to get your personalized results

MS teams Group tabs

Create group tabs within MS Teams to easily find your content

Enhance the visibility and experience of consuming your content created in Rever. Enable the creation of a tab with customized content according to your needs, which can be shared publicly.

What can I do with this feature?

  1. Tab Creation: be able to add a new tab in Microsoft Teams featuring content from the Rever platform.
  2. Content Configuration: choose the content you want to view by selecting from the attributes available in the filters.
  3. Content Display: the information will be shown in a table format with options for sorting, searching, and filtering.
  4. **Content Interaction: **you can interact with the table content, including the options to open, complete, or edit items as needed. You will have the same interaction as currently available in the Explore tab of the Rever MS Teams App.

Start creating your tab groups

  1. Log in to your MS account
  2. Select the "Teams" option within the main menu options of sections
  3. Create a new Team from the "+" button

  1. In your new Team add a new tab
  2. Find the Rever app and select it
  3. Identify your tab with a specific name
  4. Configure it by adding the filters you need: Sites, Content type, Status, Assignees, Completed date, Categories, Countries, Condition, Creation date, Due date, Priority, Routines, Site Groups, Tag groups, Tags and Validation

Visualizing your tab groups

Once you've set up your tab group, you'll find your content information with the filters you chose, similar to the "explore" app added to MS.

  • In addition to the pre-selected filters in your tab group, you can add more filters on the fly if you want to get specific results
  • Sort your results by columns
  • Search for specific results in the search bar within your tab group
  • Create and add as many tab groups as you need
  • Find your content and visualize them
