The fastest, most effective, and powerful way to create, assign, and track tasks with all your teammates.
Rever now allows you to have a work manager in addition to the Revs activity that you already know. Tasks allows you to track, visualize plans, follow up, and discuss those quick and easy actions that require an actionable record so you or your team don't lose track of the work.
Before you begin
Tasks is a new section located in the main Rever menu, available for all users on the web and mobile versions:

Create a Task
Access the new section Tasks or click on the "+" button and select Task and fill in all the important details and options:
Title/name to your Task (Make sure to include the essential data)
Status:
- Open
- In Progress
- Completed
Assignees: Assign the user to track and complete the Task
Priority:
- High
- Medium
- Low
- No Priority
Description: What is the required action
Images: Add up to five images
Attachments: Attach any files concerning the task
Add comments and mention your colleagues
Actionables:
- Duplicate: Easily duplicate the task and start from there
- Share your task: Share it with anyone by copying the link
- Delete: Remove your task, only the creator can delete it
- Edit:
ΒΊ Private: Only the creator and the assignee can edit a Task
ΒΊ Public: Any colleague can edit a public Task
Private Tasks
You have the autonomy to decide which tasks you want to keep private and which ones you're comfortable sharing with everyone.
You can find this option at the top right corner of your Task:
Tasks created from the universal plus "+" button (main menu) are Public by default, anyone can see or edit this Task, unless you change it to private.
Tasks created from the Tasks section are Private by default, only you (and your assignee) can see or edit the Task, unless you change it to public.
Tasks created within a Rev will always be Public and can never be changed to private.

* Once you create a task, you can leave it assigned to yourself or assign it to one of your colleagues
* Turn Tasks into your own Task Manager and don't miss a work related thing

Follow a Task
Follow your favorite tasks and find out everything about them with the below details:

* Receive in-app (bell icon) and email notifications
* In order to follow up on a Task, please remember that it needs to be a public
* Follow up on as many tasks as you want, there is no limit
Create tasks in a Rev
It's crucial to create pending tasks associated with a Rev to ensure all necessary actions are completed and linked directly to your Rev. Simply access your Rev, navigate to the Tasks section on the right side, and create new tasks as needed.
Note: Tasks created in a Rev will always be Public and cannot be changed to private.
Filter your Tasks
Easily manage your tasks from the Tasks section: search, filter, and track them.
Filter by:
- My Tasks
- Created by me
- All Tasks (Admins only) - Tasks from your Site
Status:
- Incomplete
- Completed
- All Tasks
Manage your Tasks
Find your tasks and track them with a single click. Opening your task will activate a view where you can easily edit it, add the information you need, change the status, assignee, due date, priority, description, comment, mention colleagues, add pictures/attachments, etc.
You can share your task by copying the link directly from the top right menu in the "Copy" icon. You can also delete or duplicate it from the same option bar.
βπΌβ¨ Pro-tip: If you want to save time and quickly mark it as completed, click the circle next to the task title without opening it.
Task groups
Here is a tip βπΌβ¨ Filter your results by Groups, and choose the group that best suits your needs:
Due date - View those tasks organized by due dates:
- **Past due: **Shows all tasks with past due dates to the current week (a week is considered to be from Monday to Sunday). If there is any Task that is due before Sunday, it will be shown in the list highlighted in red.
- **This week: **Here you will find all the Tasks that have a due date within the current week. Tasks dated Monday to Sunday of the current week. If a Task is overdue (yesterday or before, until Monday) from today but in the same current week it will be highlighted in red.
- **Later: **These are the Tasks that have a due date selected after the current week. After the following Sunday from the day on which they are being consulted.
- **No due date: **All Tasks that do not have a due date assigned
Priority - All tasks that have been catalogued by priority:
- High
- Medium
- Low

Easily search tasks
Search Bar: Our search bar will help you find your tasks by typing in the name or specific keywords
Sort by: You can sort all your results in each section by:
- Due date
- Last updated
- Last created
- Alphabetically
Kanban View
Organize your tasks using Kanban view, where tasks are displayed in columns categorized as Open, In Progress, and Completed. Easily move tasks between columns by dragging and dropping, providing a simple and efficient way to update their status.

βπΌβ¨ Pro-tips:
* Every time you drag a task to the column of the status you want, it will automatically change.
* Kanban functionality is only available in the Web version and only for Tasks.
* You can create new Tasks in the Open status column with the quick creation button at the top.

We understand the importance of keeping you informed about the progress of your tasks. Here are the active notifications generated by the following actions:
Mobile version
The core functionality of the mobile version of Tasks closely resembles that of the web, with some adjustments tailored for mobile usage.

Create Tasks Offline
Creating Tasks anytime has never been easier. Even if your internet connection fails and you need to record pending Tasks, you can do it seamlessly, whether online or completely offline.
Follow these steps:
Click the + button on your mobile app
Select Tasks
Create and fill out the necessary data for your Task
Click on "Create"
Now your Task was created in Offline mode, and you will find it available on the Home screen of the app, specifically in the "Content out of sync" section
Once your device has connectivity, it will be synchronized and available online automatically, it is not necessary for you to take any additional steps.
βπΌβ¨Pro-tip:
* Keep in mind that you must always be logged into your Rever account
* A new message of "Content out of sync" will be displayed on the Home screen referring to those offline Taks
* Offline Tasks are not listed in the Tasks section, only on the Home screen
* Make sure your offline Tasks get synced once you have an internet connection
