Tasks
The fastest, most effective, and powerful way to create, assign, and track tasks with all your teammates.
Rever now allows you to have a work manager in addition to the Revs activity that you already know. Tasks allows you to track, visualize plans, follow up, and discuss those quick and easy actions that require an actionable record so you or your team don't lose track of the work.
Before you begin
Tasks is a new section located in the main Rever menu, available for all users on the web and mobile versions:
- Create and assign
- Collaborate
- Track
- Filter and visualize
- Follow-Up/Discuss
- Complete
Create a Task
Access the new section Tasks or click on the "+" button and select Task and fill in all the important details and options:
- Title/name to your Task (Make sure to include the essential data)
- Status:
- Open

ΒΊ Public: Any colleague can edit a public Task
Private Tasks
You have the autonomy to decide which tasks you want to keep private and which ones you're comfortable sharing with everyone.
You can find this option at the top right corner of your Task:
- Tasks created from the universal plus "+" button (main menu) are Public by default, anyone can see or edit this Task, unless you change it to private.
- Tasks created from the Tasks section are **Private **by default, only you (and your assignee) can see or edit the Task, unless you change it to public.
- Tasks created within a Rev will always be Public and can never be changed to private.
Follow a Task
Follow your favorite tasks and find out everything about them with the below details:
- Status change
- Due date selection
- Comments
- Attach photos and attachments
β
Create tasks in a Rev
It's crucial to create pending tasks associated with a Rev to ensure all necessary actions are completed and linked directly to your Rev. Simply access your Rev, navigate to the Tasks section on the right side, and create new tasks as needed.
Note: Tasks created in a Rev will always be Public and cannot be changed to private.
Filter your Tasks
Easily manage your tasks from the Tasks section: search, filter, and track them.
- **Filter by: **
- My Tasks
- Created by me
- All Tasks (Admins only) - Tasks from your Site
- **Status: **
- Incomplete
- Completed
- All Tasks
Manage your Tasks
Find your tasks and track them with a single click. Opening your task will activate a view where you can easily edit it, add the information you need, change the status, assignee, due date, priority, description, comment, mention colleagues, add pictures/attachments, etc.
